No connector for your app? Hook Grok Bot up to Zapier

Beginner · How-to · Oct. 31, 2026

Grok Bot has connectors for big apps like Gmail and Slack. For an app without one, Zapier is another route. Add it once and your Bot can act in the apps you've linked to your Zapier account. Zapier says its tools reach more than 9,000 apps.

What you need

A Zapier account.

Connect it

  1. In Grok Bot, click Connect apps in the sidebar.
  2. Search for Zapier.
  3. Click Add.
  4. When Grok Bot asks you to sign in, finish the Zapier login in your browser.
  5. Back in Grok Bot, check that Zapier shows under Installed. If the sign-in stalled, choose Reconnect and try again.

Already use Zapier inside Cursor? You may be done. Zapier says the two share one connection.

Put it to work

Zapier's next step is an onboarding skill that turns your apps into tools. Ask your Bot to run it and show you which actions it can use. Then give it a job in plain words. For example: "Add tomorrow's client calls to my Trello board."

Watch your Zapier allowance

Zapier says each successful action uses two tasks from your Zapier plan. Ask the Bot to check with you before anything that sends or deletes.
