# Build and sell Grok Bots (Nate Herk’s free course)

*Advanced · How-to · [Advanced hub](/how-to/advanced/)*

Nate Herk’s *Build & Sell Grok Bots* course (~1h45) is free on YouTube. Watch there. Treat any Skool post as provenance, not the paywall.

This Advanced how-to is the long build after [first hour](/first-hour-one-job-bots/), [nine roster hacks](/nine-hacks-grok-bot-roster/), and [every concept explained](/every-grok-bot-concept-explained/). Soft-hedge plan gates: Herk demos paid seats and a full connector list; confirm your own plan and Plugins catalog before you promise a client the same roster.

## The four Cs:

Herk’s frame for an AI OS:

1. **Context** — who you are, what the business does, goals, and how you work. Memory and shared files carry that.

2. **Connections** — plugins and tools that read and act (Gmail, Drive, ClickUp, Slack, Composio, and whatever your catalog shows today).

3. **Capabilities** — skills with clear steps and a definition of done.

4. **Cadence** — time-based or event-based routines so work runs without another prompt.

Start with one agent and one job. Add seats when a real bottleneck shows up.

## Build path he walks:

He spins a fresh account, names a chief-of-staff style bot, then grows specialists around a fake home-services company.

Typical seats in the walkthrough:

- **Inbox:** triage Gmail, labels, drafts first, send only after you approve.

- **ClickUp:** log work so humans can review and archive completed items.

- **Composio:** reach tools the built-in plugin shelf does not cover yet.

- **Slack routines:** event triggers that fire when a channel message lands.

- **Marketing / video seats:** asset work when the ops core already holds.

Delegation stays sharp because each description states the job other bots can read. Feedback loops tighten skills after a dry run. Keep send, delete, refunds, and file changes behind approval until trust exists.

## Sell setup as a service:

Near the end he covers sharing bot templates and packaging Grok Bot setup for other businesses: install, context dump, connectors, one coordinator, a few specialists, and a watched first week.

You are selling a working roster and operating rules, not a swarm demo. Scope the offer to jobs the client already understands. Soft-hedge usage meters and admin approval on work tenants.

## Where this sits on the ladder:

Farm heavy coding off the Grok Bot meter. Use the bots for always-on knowledge work, checks, and orchestration — especially from your phone.
