**X Brief** (by Dan McAteer) turns the accounts, topics, and searches you pick on X into one short daily brief with a link on every line. It reads your X connection or pasted handles. It is **not** a general research assistant, does **not** post for you, and does not give growth advice.

### Who it's for

People who want a quiet daily X digest for a beat they already chose. Useful companion pattern for a research sweep or News/Trending intake. Preview the job; do not bolt it onto an existing research bot without a scrub.

### Hard lines (steal these)

- Never invent a post, quote, handle, or engagement number. Say when a page would not open.

- Draft by default. Never post, reply, like, or DM without an explicit yes.

- Routines stay **off** until you say yes; they run in your timezone.

- Working state lives in files: watch list (source of truth), dated briefs, and a seen-log so the same post never lands twice.

- Quiet day = one line, not filler.
