# Thursday Arena playtest is live

*News*

The three-day Galaxy company build shipped a playable game on Day 3.

Around **12:18 CT** on September 17, 2026, [Thursday Arena](https://thursdayarena.com/) went live for playtest. [@thursdayarena](https://x.com/thursdayarena/status/2100635485731516706) announced it; Lauren Tan ([@poteto](https://x.com/poteto/status/2100635838363349026)) wrote "our game is live!! help us play test it!"; Matt Palmer ([@mattyp](https://x.com/mattyp/status/2100636936667042025)) wrote "go play!"; [@poteto](https://x.com/poteto/status/2100638817447457042) later: "we shipped!"

X link-card copy on the site: "Pick a captain, take two mystery teammates, fight three rounds." Soft-hedge the card title **Cupcake** - treat it as link metadata / stream UI (Cupcake Eva, Cupcake Kanban, etc.), not a confirmed alternate product name unless builders say so on stream. Builders and the live site lead with **Thursday Arena**.

### Playtest reality check

About **2:10 CT**, [@poteto](https://x.com/poteto/status/2100663630111084913) posted: "fair warning: we know it's buggy and hard to play! but we started up our grok bot team on stream to start looking at feedback submitted in game and bug fixes, UI improvements should be landing soon" / "please keep giving us feedback as we work on this live!"

If you open the site, expect a rough playtest, not a polished launch. Keep feedback coming through the in-game path they named.

### Timed Ultra promo (not standing pricing)

Earlier that morning (~**10:41 CT**), [@poteto](https://x.com/poteto/status/2100611185355956465) posted "FREE GROK BOT ULTRA FOR NEXT 10 MINS!! NEW ACCOUNTS ONLY" with steps to download, create an account, and ask bot to create a recurring task; [@mattyp](https://x.com/mattyp/status/2100611523727278216) echoed "one month free of grok @bot for the next 10m." That window is **over**. Do not treat it as current Ultra pricing.

### Galaxy context

Day 3 broadcast card said "Grok Bot builds a Game Studio LIVE." Core builders on Luma: Matt Palmer, Lauren Tan, Roshan Sadanani. Event hub: [/grok-bot-galaxy/](/grok-bot-galaxy/). Day 3 wrap: [/galaxy-day-3-wrap/](/galaxy-day-3-wrap/).
