# Elon amplifies Yale Grok Bot campus demo

*News*

On 2026-09-12, [Elon](https://x.com/elonmusk/status/2098657580126019960) amplified a [@cb_doge](https://x.com/cb_doge/status/2098469993419829459) report that the Yale AI Association kicked off its academic year with a live Grok Bot demo on campus. The student group also announced a contest to build a useful Yale app. Cursor brought the event and offered attendees a free month of Cursor Pro, per that report.

This is a campus demo + contest beat. Soft-check the live posts for contest rules. It is not [Grok Bot Galaxy](/grok-bot-galaxy/) (Sep 15-17 Howard SF + livestream).
