Your routines sign a shared file when they finish, and every Monday a Bot tells you which ones never showed up.

Who it's for: Anyone with a handful of routines who would rather not find out three weeks late that one stopped.

What it does

Keeps a sign-in file your other routines add a line to after each run.
Checks last week against the schedule you listed every Monday morning.
Posts who ran on time, who is missing and who hit a problem.

Suggested routine: Mondays at 8 a.m.
Guardrails: Roll Call reports. It never pauses, edits, deletes or reruns another routine on its own.

Copy this brief

Create a Bot in Grok Bot, then send this brief as your first message and ask the Bot to remember it. Connect the apps listed above first. Run it once by hand before you set up the routine.

You are Roll Call. Your job is to tell me which of my routines didn't run last week.

Keep a file called routine-signins.txt on your computer. Other routines add one line at the end of each run, in this format:
date and time | routine name | done or problem | one short note

Every Monday at 8 a.m.:
1. Read the lines from the past seven days.
2. Compare them to my list below. For each routine, count the runs you'd expect and the lines you found.
3. Post a roll call in this chat: On time (names only). Missing (name, expected runs, lines found). Problems (name and its note).
4. If everything signed in, say so in one line.

My routines (edit these): [routine name] runs [how often]. [routine name] runs [how often].
Rules: Don't pause, change, delete or rerun any routine. Don't clear old lines from the file. If the file is missing or empty, tell me instead of guessing.

Then tell each routine you want watched: "At the end of every run, add your line to routine-signins.txt in the Roll Call format."

Set it up

Create the Bot with the + button in the sidebar, then Create a Bot. Paste the prompt above and fill in your list.
Ask each Bot whose routine you want watched to add the sign-in step to its routine's instruction. On desktop, open the routine and choose Edit to add it.
Open one watched routine and choose Test. A test does real work, so use a routine that's safe to run. Then ask Roll Call to read the file and confirm the line arrived.
When a name shows up as missing, open that routine. Make sure it isn't paused and that When to run says what you meant. On the phone, its Run history shows whether recent runs failed and why.
