Take over Agent Computer for secrets (not chat)
When Grok Bot hits a password, passkey, two-factor code, CAPTCHA, or payment confirmation, take over Agent Computer yourself. Do not paste secrets into ordinary chat.
When to take over
The Bot should hand you control for:
- Passwords and passkeys
- Two-factor / one-time codes
- CAPTCHAs
- Payment or identity checks
- Sites that explicitly require a human
An approval controls a proposed action. It does not reverse work already done.
How to take over
- 1. Open Agent Computer from the conversation.
- 2. Choose the takeover control.
- 3. Complete only the blocked step yourself.
- 4. Return control and tell the Bot to continue.
If the Bot presents a secure secret request for a supported connection, enter the value there. That field is masked, kept out of the transcript, and not shown to the model. It is not a general password manager.
What you are looking at
Agent Computer is your account’s shared cloud desktop. Browser sessions you create there persist and are available to your other Bots. Closing the Grok Bot app or your laptop does not stop cloud work.
Hard rule
Never put passwords, passkeys, or one-time codes in chat. Type them on the computer during takeover, or in the secure secret form when the app offers one.
