Where Grok Bot keeps the files, pages and decks your Bots make

Beginner · How-to · Oct. 24, 2026

A Bot's work doesn't stay in the chat scroll. Files, pages and links a Bot shares are also kept in that Bot's Library, and a Sept. 28 changelog entry describes a Library tab "listing the pages, files, and links it has shared, grouped into Today, This week, and Older."

Bots now make more kinds of output. Since early October, the official changelog says, Bots can deliver slide decks "as PowerPoint files or Google Slides" (v0.68.1, Oct. 7), "save a web page as a PDF from their browser and send audio files such as MP3, M4A, and WAV" (v0.70.2, Oct. 11), build Pages (v0.75.2, Oct. 22) and "create videos from a description or from an image you share" (v0.75.2).

Here's where all of it goes and what you can do with it.

In the chat

Files show up in the chat first. "Files and images Bots send from their computer arrive in the chat, ahead of any question card," the v0.70.2 notes say.

In the Library

On desktop, click the Bot's name at the top of the chat to open its details. The Pages help page says to open the Library tab from there. The Oct. 22 release notes describe a redesigned details pane with Media, Computer and Routines tabs and don't name a Library tab, so the label on your screen may differ from the help page.

"The Library lists the pages, files, and apps the Bot has made," the help page says. Hover over a row and you get "a preview with who sent the item, when, and who can see a Page" (v0.75.2).

To keep something handy, pin it. "You can pin Library pages, files, and links to a Pinned section that stays at the top and syncs across your devices" (v0.75.2). On a page's row, the More actions button (three dots) shows Open, Share… and Pin, per the help page.

The help page gives Library steps for desktop only.

Search

Search covers attachments too. Search "finds message text and attachment names in all chats, including the open one" (v0.70.2), and "Files search finds files on your Bot's computer" (Aug. 19 entry).

Sharing

How you share depends on what the Bot made.
