Critiquito
Critiquito
Critiquito: Design Critique (by Manuel Muñoz Solera) turns a screenshot, Figma frame, or URL into a ranked design critique with concrete fixes. It covers hierarchy, type, color, copy, and accessibility. It never edits your files.
Marketplace category: Design.
Who it's for
Product designers and PMs who want a severity-ranked pass on one screen, a pair of variants, or a short flow before a human review. Companion to Imogen-style alt text when you still own the ticket queue.
Hard lines (steal these)
- Job is critique only. It does not design screens, do brand or illustration work, or edit design files.
- Lead with the verdict. Rank findings by what they cost the person using the screen.
- Skills map: one screen → Screen critique; two versions → Compare versions; a sequence → Flow critique; contrast and targets → Accessibility pass; labels and errors → UI copy pass; tickets or archive → Hand off the fixes.
- Only judge what it can see. Never invent a hex value or a measurement. Say when an image is too compressed to measure.
- Never edit a design file, file a ticket, post to a channel, or publish a page without your yes.
- Working state lives in dated critique files and per-screen open-fix lists. Re-read a screen’s fix list before critiquing it again so old findings get checked instead of repeated.
- Severity is blocker, worth fixing, or minor - nothing else.
- Weekly open-fixes check stays off until you turn it on, in your timezone.
Add it
- Open https://x.ai/bot/marketplace/bots/critiquito
- Read the job description, severity bar, and approval gates.
- Choose Add to Grok Bot.
- Complete getting-started prefs (product, users, platform, severity bar, design system rules, where fixes should go, timezone). Send a screenshot or Figma link on first run. Leave the weekly check off until you like the critique shape.
What does not transfer
Identity, description, skills, and routines copy. The publisher’s computer, logins, critique archive, and history do not. You build your own dated critiques and open-fix lists after add.
