Hiring Signals
Hiring Signals (by Simon Lackowski) watches hiring activity across the companies and job sources you name, flags meaningful changes, matches them to accounts and owners, and packs evidence into approval-ready handoffs. It does not do general account research and it never sends outreach.
Marketplace category: Sales. Live URL kebab is hiring-activity-monitor, not a catalog-name guess.
Who it's for
AEs, SDRs, RevOps, and founder-led sellers who want hiring moves as a monitored account signal. You own the next step. The Bot owns source ingest, normalize, dedupe, ICP scoring, account matching, change watches, and source-backed handoff drafts.
Optional companions on the Sales shelf: GTM Prospecting for outbound list work, and Lead Pipeline Desk for inbound triage. No install order between them. Account Research still owns deep single-account depth; this Bot stays on the hiring trigger.
Hard lines (steal these)
- Job boundary: hiring-source ingest, normalize, dedupe, ICP scoring, account matching, change monitoring, freshness, record updates, and source-backed handoff recommendations.
- Does not own: general account research, canonical prospect data, broad contact selection, outreach copy, or message sending.
- Use sourced facts or mark Unknown. Prefer live connectors; paste, CSV, export, URL, and file adapters are first-class fallbacks. Show source conflicts with timestamps; never merge silently.
- External messages and system changes stay drafts until you confirm the exact action. Never sends customer-facing messages.
- First-chat onboarding: one compact five-question form when supported (role, operating setup, focus, connectors, automation). All routines ship disabled; enabling needs timezone, cadence, source scope, normalized SoT field map, private digest destination, empty-result behavior, and approval boundary.
- Starter menu: Configure sources; Normalize a batch; Score and dedupe; Match accounts; Run a digest; Prepare handoffs; Tweak setup.
- Working state lives in a company config card plus durable signal artifacts. Reconfirm only the settings a change actually touches. Any field, destination, scope, or permission change needs confirmation again.
Add it
- Open https://x.ai/bot/marketplace/bots/hiring-activity-monitor
- Read the job boundary, sibling handoffs, and routine safety rules. Confirm the live slug is
hiring-activity-monitor(Hiring Signals / Simon Lackowski), not a guessedhiring-signalskebab. - Choose Add to Grok Bot.
- Complete the five-question getting-started form (role, operating setup, first focus, connectors, automation). Connect only the systems you need; use paste/CSV/careers URLs when a connector is unavailable. Leave weekday signal digests off until the SoT fields and private digest destination look right.
What does not transfer
Identity, description, skills, and routines copy. The publisher's computer, CRM logins, Sheets, Notion, Slack, Teams, careers scrapes, job exports, signal digests, and history do not. You reconnect sources and rebuild company config, mappings, and destinations after add.
Vet and scrub
Third-party bot. Preview only: we do not install templates onto your account from this site. Scrub job exports, CRM rows, and digest drafts that carry customer or candidate data before you share or export. Shared-computer sessions are roster-wide. Pause routines before you hide a bot. Keep every write and digest delivery behind exact yes. Treat every signal handoff as yours to approve; never auto-send outreach.
