Build a Page of your subscriptions, then approve the cancels

Tip · Nov. 6, 2026

A subscription audit belongs on a Page you can reopen. This idea came from Forward Future's Grok Bot Playbook, Part I. Here's how we'd set it up. We did not run a live subscription audit for this guide.

1. Ask for the Page. Tell your Bot you want a Page that lists each recurring charge, its renewal date and a keep-or-cancel column. Official help says you make a Page by asking in chat. It can hold text, tables, charts and controls. Our earlier guide on making a first Page covers the card and the Library.

2. Point it at what you already have. Paste a list, attach a file, or name a connected app the Bot can already reach. If billing mail already goes to a tagged alias on your Bot's inbox, point it at that address too.

3. Keep it private. A new Page starts private to you. Skip "anyone with the link" when the Page holds account or payment details. A public Page gets an address on pages.grok.bot, and anyone with that address can open it without signing in.

4. Record keep or cancel in chat. Filters and switches change only what you see. They don't save a mark on the Page. To mark a row, ask the Bot, and it edits the same Page. When the Bot updates a Page, the earlier card in chat says Updated.

5. Cancel only the rows you marked. The official changelog for v0.78.1 says, "Bots can cancel a subscription or look up its price and renewal date, and confirm with you before changing anything." The same notes say the Find unused subscriptions template "cancels plans you pick from the ones you still pay for," and that Watch subscription prices "checks renewal prices."

6. Ask the Bot to refresh the same Page. When prices or renewal dates change, ask it to update this Page. We have not tested a scheduled refresh, so check the numbers after the first few updates.

If you don't see Pages, update Grok Bot. Official help says Pages is rolling out gradually and is not available on Enterprise teams yet.

What to do: Ask for the audit Page this week, mark keep or cancel in chat, and approve only the cancels you are ready to make.
