Grok Bot 0.77.0 adds Import Memory, a Permissions page and Vault payments

News · Oct. 28, 2026

Grok Bot can now pull your preferences and context from another AI assistant, list all of your Auto-review rules in one place in Settings and let you pick the payment method Bots use first.

The changes are in v0.77.0, posted on the official Grok Bot changelog under Oct. 26 with the title "Permissions, Vault payments, and question cards." The entry also includes version 0.76.0.

The memory feature is new. "Import Memory to Grok Bot, in Settings, brings your preferences and context from another AI assistant into your primary Bot," the changelog says. It requires Grok Bot 0.75.2 or later.

The release also gathers Auto-review rules, the instructions that tell the safety check what to allow and what to stop, into one section. "Settings has a Permissions section that lists Auto-review rules under Always Ask and Allow without Asking, each with its own Add Rule button," the notes say. That item also requires 0.75.2 or later.

Approval cards get more time. "Auto-review approval cards stay open for 30 minutes instead of 10, in the app and in Slack," according to the changelog. And "Background work you start in your own words no longer asks for Auto-review approval to start."

The Vault, where Bots keep your logins, cards and contact info, gets a payments setting. "The Vault has a Payments tab where you pick the payment method Bots use first, and you still approve every purchase," the notes say. Vault entries also get a Hints field "that tells Bots when to use each one," and "Bots try your saved Vault logins and cards before a password manager or another way to pay."

1Password changes too. It now "connects without a shared vault: you approve each login in 1Password, which fills it in the Bot's browser without the Bot seeing it," the changelog says, for Grok Bot 0.68.0 or later.

Other changes in the notes:

Outbound phone calls are still not in the notes. As of Oct. 28, the changelog does not mention the calling feature Elon Musk posted about on Oct. 25. Background: Musk says Grok Bot can place calls, but release notes don't list it yet.

The full list is on the official changelog.
