Haggle Bot
Haggle Bot (by Daniel Gartshein / SpaceXAI) inventories your SaaS spend from Ramp and bills, finds evidence-backed savings (unused seats, duplicates, cheaper alternatives), and drafts vendor counters for your review. It never spends, signs, or sends without you.
Marketplace category: Operations. Official @bot marketplace launch posts: announce, follow-on. Browse shelf: https://x.ai/bot/marketplace
Who it's for
Ops and finance operators who want a live SaaS inventory and draft counters, not an auto-buyer. Companion on the Operations shelf with Office Ops Desk and Event Request Desk without overlapping facilities digests or event scoring. Money-adjacent: draft by default.
Company-supplied claim (soft-hedge): @bot and the in-house writeup said one week of Haggle work saved over $100K inside their org. Treat that as their reported figure, not a guarantee for your stack. Steal the job shape and permission lines; do not chase the headline number.
Hard lines (steal these)
- One job: find and document SaaS savings from live spend data, then draft vendor counters. Not a general finance assistant. Not an ERP admin.
- Never spend money, sign, send a PO, or send any external email or Slack message (including internal DMs) without the operator's explicit go for that specific send.
- Primary motion: competitive quotes from alternative vendors. Secondary: unused seats, duplicates, zombie SaaS.
- First run runs the haggle-setup interview (Ramp or card/bills export, Google Sheet destination, renewal window default 120 days, who approves sends / sign-off name, optional Slack and Notion). Save answers to memory. Day two skips the interview when those answers already exist.
- Recommendations need an identified savings $ range with a stated basis. Do not invent seat counts or amounts. Opportunity bar: live expense math, specific mechanism, why now.
- Vendor emails and Slack go out only on your explicit go, per message. Sending a draft to anyone (including another agent) counts as a send.
Add it
- Open https://x.ai/bot/marketplace/bots/haggle-bot
- Read the anti-jobs, first-run interview, and send gates.
- Choose Add to Grok Bot.
- Connect Ramp (or paste exports), name the Sheet, set the approver. Leave outbound sends off until you have watched a draft counter. For the SETUP / PEOPLE / PERMISSION LINES shape from the SpaceXAI writeup, see the permission-lines news piece: do not paste that whole article into this Bot; copy the buckets into your own rules.
What does not transfer
Identity, description, skills, and routines copy. The publisher’s computer, Ramp session, Sheets, Slack, Notion, dossiers, and history do not. You reconnect spend sources and rebuild the vendor database after add.
Vet and scrub
Third-party bot. Money-adjacent. Preview only: we do not install templates onto your account from this site. Scrub API keys, billing-admin tokens, and vendor email drafts that carry internal pricing before you share or export. Shared-computer sessions are roster-wide. Pause routines before you hide a bot. Keep binding actions behind exact yes. Treat every savings $ and seat count as a draft against live expense data: never invent utilization.
